PROPHECY PAGE

From time to time I feel impressed by God to share things He gives me (Donna Carrico).  I decided to include this page on our site.  Prophecy is declaring the mind of God.  He always did use parables and sometimes that is the kind of messages he gives to me.  I pray they will bless you as they did me and feel free to share them with others.  Here are a few examples.

END-TIME DREAMS - PERSECUTED BUT PROTECTED 4/10/2004

David and I were in a building that looked like an old filling station with the insides cleaned out. There were pull down blinds on all the windows and doors so no one could see in. There were a lot of people there. It was like the same amount of people that would come to some of the conferences 75-100 etc., but they were all crammed into the small space. They were common people, nothing fancy or rich. I heard David say, "I will do another presentation and then Donna will do hers.". The slide projector was set up and we were using one of the blinds for a screen. David had already done one presentation.

About the time he started the new one, we heard bombs start to fall. They were hitting the ground all around us. We looked out the door and saw them coming straight down out of the sky. They were not nuclear, but some other kind of bombs. I could hear them, see them fall, and see the smoke. They were not on top of us yet, but were getting closer. We (all the people in the room) were not afraid. It was as though we were expecting it to happen. Then I woke up and realized that it was a prophetic dream. I went to the bathroom and mumbled something to David about the dream and I would tell him when we woke up. Then I went back to sleep and began to dream again.

This time we were fleeing from someone chasing us. David was walking and I was riding a bicycle. I figure this is because I am unable to walk very far, but I think I could still ride a bicycle and I do have my old one in the shed. As we were trying to get away as fast as we could, there was a bunch of teenagers assorted ages chasing us and making fun of us. I said something to David like, "We have played them one kind of music and they didn't like that and so we played them another kind of music and they didn't like that either." They finally stopped throwing rocks at us and we went on. We were going down this grassy path when we came to a drop off and I had to get off the bike and walk on down. When we got down into the woody area, it was almost like an amphitheatre in the woods. There were people waiting on us there - people we had met at the Ministry to Masons conferences, along with some of the speakers, etc. Then I woke up again.

The first dream was easy to understand as it is a sign of the end-times and the fact that we are to keep on doing what we do even in the end-times and that we were not afraid, but fully trusted in God to take care of us. It also showed that we were in hiding and that there were others in the remnant as well. I do believe that we will see that day when there will be bombs dropping all around us.

The next dream is also a sign of the end-times and also that God will protect us. When I thought about the persecution from the teenagers and others, I was reminded about the prophet in the old testament when the children mocked him and the bears came out and ate them.

(2 Kings 2:21-24 KJV) And he went forth unto the spring of the waters, and cast the salt in there, and said, Thus saith the LORD, I have healed these waters; there shall not be from thence any more death or barren land. {22} So the waters were healed unto this day, according to the saying of Elisha which he spake. {23} And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. {24} And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

David said that it reminded him of another verse.

(Matthew 11:12-19 KJV) And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. {13} For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John. {14} And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come. {15} He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. {16} But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, {17} And saying, We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented. {18} For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. {19} The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

I think it is a combination of both verses. Both have to do with prophets!! Jesus was trying to tell the people about John the Baptist and his purpose and he was getting a little exasperated.

(Matthew 11:10 KJV) For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

This verse was directly before the other passage. That is also what we are trying to do. Prepare the way before Jesus comes back. We are trying to teach the same fundamental truths that Jesus taught to those who have hears to hear!

PROPHETIC DREAM - THE REAL DEAL - 9/9/2003

David and I had invited people to attend a meeting we were having in our home as was our usual custom. Usually we invite many, but few attend. This day, there was a constant stream of people coming to our home and they were from our past, from the many churches and small groups we had ministered in. We soon realized that our small mobile home could not hold everyone, so we decided to look for a building. It was beautiful on the outside and the sanctuary looked perfect.

We found a church that would let us use their building, but they told us we would have to wait till they got done with their service. We offered no protest and humbly waited. There we sat while a group of young girls did their pre-arranged dance to worship music. Then the preacher got up and read the latest things that were already in the bulletin. Then he preached and it seemed like we would never get to have our meeting.

Then the preacher said we would have a break in the back of the church. We all followed him to the back room. We were in shock when we saw how dirty and un-organized it was. It was filthy compared to the sanctuary. Then they showed us big tubs of ice and containers of kool-aid and juices. They showed us the cups and said, "Now, you can’t drink out of these cups because these are ours, but you can drink out of the other cups." We humbly did what we were told and soon the break was over and it was our turn to have a meeting. While David was preparing to speak, I noticed that some people were asleep in the pews. Others had left already and there were a faithful few, just sitting patiently, excitedly waiting for David’s message.THEN I WOKE UP!

The Lord immediately gave me the interpretation for my dream.

The number of people that came to our home did represent all the lives we have touched in our ministry. Some of them have never forgot the truths we have taught them and as the times get more and more intense, they will want to fellowship with us or remember us again somehow. Most of them are attending other churches now or from other parts of the country as they just could not break away from the organized church with its apostate beliefs or from their sinful lifestyles.

The way the people treated us at the other church is how many really ‘do’ treat our ministry. Often we are judged because we have not ‘hung in there" with an organized church, compromised our beliefs and just ‘fit in.’ They judge us because we do not have the credentials they think we have to have to minister. They do not think we are as good as they are with their fancy church and padded pews. So that is why they made us wait, to show us how superior they thought they were. When we were taken to the back room, the real truth came out. Their sins were revealed and we saw just how corrupt and dirty they were. In the dream it was physical dirt, but it represented sins that they had tried to hide.

The part about the cup was really interesting. We are admonished to be careful what cup we drink from. So they were correct - we could not drink from their idolatrous cup.

(1 Cor 10:13-21 KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. {14} Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry. {15} I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. {16} The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? {17} For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. {18} Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar? {19} What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing? {20} But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. {21} Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.Idolatry has come upon some of the churches because they have allowed the Leavens to come in. The leavens of Freemasonry and false doctrines, etc. (More on this on our cassette tape PT23 - What Makes and Apostate Church?)

(1 Corinthians 5:11-13 KJV) But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. {12} For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within? {13} But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

When I saw the people asleep, I realized that although we had taught sound doctrine to these people, they were just not willing to wait for more instructions. They were lukewarm. The ones that left were just not hungry enough for the truth.

I do not think that this will actually happen, but it represents many things that have happened to us in our ministry and some things yet to come. We will continue to sound the alarm and cry out and expose the sins and idolatries of God’s people. (Isaiah 58) We pray that God will continue to keep us humble and convict us of our sins so that we will not be like those from the church in my dream. In His Service, Donna Carrico

TWO HEADED DRAGON DREAM - August 25, 2003 - 12:00 P.M.

I awoke from a dream where I was walking along with a Christian friend discussing a flea market and her relatives when all of a sudden the ground beneath us began to roll. It was heaving up and rolling like a firm enough to stand on mud and grass and I could see the wrinkles as it moved over the earth. There was nothing we could do physically except try to keep our balance as the earth continued to heave and roll destroying everything in its path. It was as though a horrorindously strong magnetic pull was sucking the surface of the ground up from the earth, but not totally lifting it off, and shifting everything on the surface of the earth. As I was trying to figure out what was happening, I saw above us not touching the ground, but hovering about 10-20 feet? above the ground, a two-headed dragon beast whose heads seemed to be trying to devour or was attached to a ball of fire or bright circular light. I could see how the two heads were attached to one body and although I could not see the tail, dipping lower than its head, I knew it followed reeking havoc along its way. It was so close that I could see the taupe-grey scales on its skin and the ugliness of its form. It’s hugeness was covering the earth with darkness. Immediately, I felt in my spirit that this two-headed dragon beast represented the anti-christ and the false prophet going across the earth destroying things in their path and there was nothing the people on earth could do to stop it. I also felt that it was somehow connected to a comet? or some kind of foreign object from space. I am not sure what that connection is, but I will continue to research what happens when a comet comes close the earth. There have been rumors of a "planet X" that is on a collision course with earth soon, but I cannot say for sure that it has anything to do with this dream.

At the end of the dream, there were people starting to get on an elevator and I told them that it was not safe and that I would not get on it.

After praying for the Lord to explain the dream, I felt he told me to read II Chronicles but no specific chapter or verse. I have done so briefly, but have found no answers except to notice the "twos" in the book such as the two columns on Solomon’s temple built by Huram and also the division of the children of Israel and Judah. Also, Solomon had a wife that was the daughter of and Egyptian. Within this book is the story of the king who loved God the most, Josiah along with many other bad kings. I will continue to seek the Lord and study II Chronicles.(2 Chronicles 8:11 KJV) And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.

Also, there may be a connection to this passage.

(Revelation 12:12-17 KJV) Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. {13} And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. {14} And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. {15} And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. {16} And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth. {17} And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

James Lloyd has written several little books that I am skimming to see if he has said anything that connects and I will share this dream with him also. Here are a few more Scriptures that may be connected also.

(Psalms 74:12-18 KJV) For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. {13} Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. {14} Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. {15} Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers. {16} The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. {17} Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter. {18} Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name.

(Job 41 KJV) Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? {2} Canst thou put an hook into his nose? or bore his jaw through with a thorn? {3} Will he make many supplications unto thee? will he speak soft words unto thee? {4} Will he make a covenant with thee? wilt thou take him for a servant for ever? {5} Wilt thou play with him as with a bird? or wilt thou bind him for thy maidens? {6} Shall the companions make a banquet of him? shall they part him among the merchants? {7} Canst thou fill his skin with barbed irons? or his head with fish spears? {8} Lay thine hand upon him, remember the battle, do no more. {9} Behold, the hope of him is in vain: shall not one be cast down even at the sight of him? {10} None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me? {11} Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine. {12} I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion. {13} Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle? {14} Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about. {15} His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal. {16} One is so near to another, that no air can come between them. {17} They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered. {18} By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning. {19} Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out. {20} Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. {21} His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. {22} In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him. {23} The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved. {24} His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone. {25} When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves. {26} The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon. {27} He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood. {28} The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble. {29} Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear. {30} Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire. {31} He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment. {32} He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary. {33} Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear. {34} He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

(Isaiah 14:29 KJV) Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.

JOY INTO MOURNING

"INVISIBLE WARFARE"

MOURNING INTO JOY

Word from the Lord to the Body:

"Delight in the Joy of the Lord for your Joy will be turned into Mourning as you see what is coming upon my people"

I saw a brown dirty fence with barbed wire. It had brown wood sticks (like the ones you use as tomato stakes) mixed in with the wire at the bottom part. I realized this fence was to keep the Christians "in", not the enemy "out".

I was barefoot and in dirty, ragged, brown, torn prisoner clothes and felt my hands tied behind my back. My eyes had been plucked out and stitched shut. My tongue had been cut out and my voice box was injured. The stitches on my eyes and the ones that kept my mouth shut were not pretty, not professional at all. They reminded me of scarecrow stitches.

And yet--I REALIZED I COULD BE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD IN MY MIND. They could do all they could do to my body, but they couldn't get to my mind. OR COULD THEY?? My ears were not harmed because that is the way the enemy can get to our minds.

The Lord is showing us that our minds are THE LAST BATTLEFIELD!

AND WE ARE NOT READY!

We must learn to protect our minds. We must learn how to go the SECRET PLACE--

>without music >without words spoken out loud >without the laying on of hands or ANY EXTERNAL STIMULATION.

That can only be done with practice. We must really learn to bring every thought into captivity as the word says.

(2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

We must learn how to do SPIRITUAL BATTLE IN OUR MINDS AND SPIRITS.

That is the only way we will be able to withstand the persecution that is coming upon God's people.

We must learn how to fight the enemy in our minds - not with our bodies.

This does not mean we are to quit how we worship and warfare now, but we must BEGIN TO PRACTICE in our minds:

"INVISIBLE WARFARE"

This is the name the Lord told me to call what I am trying to explain.

We are in SPIRITUAL WARFARE TRAINING and we are becoming accustomed to God's presence. We CAN call on the angels through our minds.

We CAN call fire down from heaven from our minds.

We CAN be in His Holy presence IN OUR MINDS.

We CAN do ALL things through Christ who strengthens us.

Stephen saw the Lord as he was being stoned to death.

(Acts 7:55-56 KJV) But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, {56} And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

We CAN TOO!

The Scripture also tells about turning Mourning into Joy in James chapters 4 & 5. This is a portion of that passage:

(James 4:7-10 KJV) Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. {8} Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. {9} Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. {10} Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

The rest of the chapter 4 and 5 are to remind us of what is expected of us.

As always Father God always makes a way and he gave us Jesus to turn our MOURNING INTO JOY.

In the passage in Luke Jesus is speaking to the Pharisees in the temple as He read from the scroll:

(Luke 4:18-21 KJV) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, {19} To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. {20} And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. {21} And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

You will notice that Jesus closed the book (after verse 19) and said this scripture was fulfilled in their ears that day!

Yet that is not all of the Scripture. The rest of the original passage can be found in Isaiah 61.

(Isaiah 61:2-9 KJV) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; {3} To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. {4} And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. {5} And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. {6} But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. {7} For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them. {8} For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. {9} And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

You will see that Jesus stopped short of speaking of the day of vengeance and the mourning and what He has for us - HIS BRIDE - His "trees of righteousness", His Priests and Ministers of God. He also stopped short of the warnings to the people He was speaking to that day. But they knew what the rest of the passage said and that is why they were filled with wrath and tried to throw him over the hill, yet He escaped.

The rest of that passage is for us-HIS BRIDE. He has opened the book in Heaven-the Old Testament-to reveal to his Prophets and servants exactly what the fulfillment of the prophecy means.

(Revelation 5:6-10 KJV) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. {7} And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. {8} And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. {9} And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; {10} And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

He is beginning to open the seals that comes after the passage above.

(Revelation 6:1-2 KJV) And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. {2} And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The ENEMY is the same: THOSE WHO DID NOT ACCEPT JESUS TO BE THE MESSIAH. Those who are like the Apostle Paul was before conversion. Those who are zealous modern day Pharisees, and those who have chosen to follow an anti-Christ new age belief system, and those who have refused to accept that Revival is real and God's power can truly change lives and be manifested in many ways.

They are still our ENEMY and they are still persecuting and will continue to persecute BELIEVERS until Christ returns in ALL HIS GLORY to claim his Bride and bring peace as only He can bring.

TO HIM BE ALL THE GLORY FOREVER, AND FOREVER, AMEN

In Service to my King, Donna Carrico

PLANTING POTATOES

A few weeks ago (June 2000) I was asking the Lord to give me a word for the church.  This is what I saw.

I watched myself planting potatoes.  It has been a long time since I planted potatoes, but this is what I feel the Lord revealed about it.

When we plant "seed" potatoes, we have to be sure that they have no "rotten spots" in them.  Then we have to be sure that they have at least two "eyes" and we must plant them facing up.  Then we also must be sure that the potatoes are planted deep in the soil so the "roots" will be strong.  We also have to be sure they are "nurtured" with plenty of sun and water.  Then when they "mature", they sprout other potatoes an the "cycle" goes on and on.

As Christians we must be sure that we are "seeds" for others.  We need to be sure we have no "rotten" in us.  We need to be holy before the Lord and keep sin out of our lives.  We also need to be sure we keep our "eyes" up - towards the Lord in Heaven and look forward to His return and for direction in our lives from Him.  Then we also need to be sure we are "rooted" and grounded with the Word of God in our hearts and our roots planted deep in Him.  We also need to be "nurtured" with good Bible teachings and renew our minds so that we will "mature" properly.  And of course, like potatoes, we need to be able to produce more "potatoes" - Christians like ourselves.  We need to present Christ to others and plant seeds of the gospel and pray that hearts will be changed so that the cycle can continue bringing others into the Kingdom of God.

Your Servant, Donna Carrico

THE ULTIMATE TRUTH

To Print out PDF Click Here

What you are about to read are the most important facts (truths) that you will ever read.

We are speaking of this book you are reading now, or any other book that you will ever read during your lifetime. The section you are about to read contains the ULTIMATE TRUTH and KNOWLEDGE OF THE UNIVERSE.

DO NOT STOP UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THIS SECTION COMPLETELY THROUGH!

The Word of God says that there is a knowledge so important that we will perish if we don’t know it.

(Hosea 4:6 KJV) My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Jesus said there is a truth so powerful that if we know it we will be set free.

(John 8:32 KJV) And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

The New Testament states there is a knowledge about God so important that if we know it, we will have everything we need to live a Godly life.

(2 Peter 1:2-4 KJV) Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, {3} According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: {4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

We certainly need to know these facts, these things, above all other things and we need to be able to share them with others. These ‘facts’ are truths about the gospel of Jesus Christ which unlocks the power of God to all who will learn them and believe them.

(Romans 1:16 KJV) For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

DON’T STOP READING NOW - thinking that you know all about the facts surrounding the gospel. We pray that you do know all the facts, but it is quite likely that you do NOT; because the facts you are about to read are rarely taught by the modern church. REMEMBER, PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE SECTION before you decide you have been taught all the facts about the gospel.

Thank God that we are not saved by our ‘heads’ according to what we know, but we are saved by our ‘hearts’ when we repent and believe the gospel. But the following facts are what we must believe if we are going to be saved.

1. That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures

2. That He was buried

3. That He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV) Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; {2} By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. {3} For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; {4} And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

If you believe these three simple facts and understand that You are a sinner and that Jesus died for Your sins to pay the penalty for Your sins, You are ready to repent and believe the gospel.

(Mark 1:15 KJV) And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

To "repent" you need to simply acknowledge to God that you are a sinner and that you are willing to turn from your sins and to receive Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life and to follow Him. If you understand these simple truths and your heart is willing, you can now pray to become a Christian and receive eternal life. You can pray a prayer of your own choosing or you can pray the following simple sample prayer.

Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that you sent your Son, Jesus Christ to die for my sins on the cross of Calvary. I ask you to forgive my disobedience and I now accept Jesus’ death on the cross and His shed blood as payment for my sin debt. I now receive Jesus Christ as the Lord of my life that I may follow Him all of my days. I thank you for your wonderful gift of Salvation! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed that simple prayer with simple Faith and an honest heart, you are ready to publicly confess Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life, that you are truly saved, and are now a Christian.

(Romans 10:9-10 KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. {10} For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

There are now some more very important facts you need to know about what happened to you. You have just experienced what Jesus called being "born again."

(John 3:3 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

This experience - this ‘heart change’ has brought about some changes that you need to understand.

(2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Important Fact # one

At the moment you prayed to receive Jesus as the Lord of your life, you experienced new birth and God put withing you a new nature and the Holy Spirit to dwell in your heart.

(2 Peter 1:3-4 KJV) According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: {4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

(1 Corinthians 6:19 KJV) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

You will soon realize that there has been quite a change indeed. You now have the Holy Spirit to guide you and you have a new nature from God that will give you not only the desire to follow Jesus and do what is right, but also the ability to keep following him by FAITH.

Important Fact #two

At the moment you were born again you "died to sin." And to be more specific, you became dead to your own sinful nature.

(Romans 6:1-2 KJV) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? {2} God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

The sin that is spoken of in Romans 6:1-2 in the Greek Text is literally, "The Sin" and refers to the sinful human nature that we are all born with rather than the individual acts or works of sin. (Gal. 5:19-21). YOUNG’S LITERAL TRANSLATIONS gives the literal translation of this verse and shows us the definite article ‘the’ before the word sin.

What then, shall we continue in the sin that the grace may abound? (YOUNG’S LITERAL TRANSLATIONS OF THE HOLY BIBLE, Baker Book House)

At the moment you were born again you became dead to your sinful nature which means that you had absolute victory over your sinful nature at that point in time. This is what the Apostle Paul refers to in Romans 6:3 as being baptized into Christ.

(Romans 6:3 KJV) Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

This verse isn’t talking about water baptism, but baptism "into Jesus Christ." This happens by faith when we are born again even though we don’t fully understand it at the time. As previously stated, at the moment you were born again you had complete victory over your sinful nature.

(Romans 6:7 KJV) For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Many Christians testify to the wonderful feelings of peace, joy, and victory that they experienced when they were saved. Most honest Christians will also testify they also experienced failure and their bubble burst bringing them back down to planet earth soon after. The main reason for this is that while the Christian understands that he is saved by "grace through faith," he usually tries to achieve sanctification by ‘works’ which is an impossible task.

(Galatians 3:3 KJV) Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

This usually happens to the new convert through no fault of their own, but because they are not taught properly.

When most Christians think about "getting the victory" they think about how they can stop committing some specific sin. They usually pray for the Lord to help them to Stop: cigarettes, alcohol, pornography, gambling, etc. The problem in reality is not these specific "sins," but "the sin" - the sinful nature that is ruling over the Christian. The Christian then falls into the trap of trying to do specific things to overcome the problem or addiction. This is what we call Sanctification by works and will only yield temporary results. There is only one way to win this battle.

THE ONLY WAY TO ACHIEVE VICTORY OVER OUR OWN SINFUL NATURE

IS TO DIE TO IT!

The only way to die to "the sin" (sinful nature) is to step from the realm of Law into the realm of Grace and Faith.

(Romans 6:14 KJV) For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Most Christians upon reading Romans 6:14 believe they are automatically under grace because live in New Testament times. This is far from the truth. Many Christians are under a law of their own creation and are trying to keep their own law to work their problems out. The sad truth is they will never achieve their freedom from "the sin" doing that. This is what the Word of God calls frustrating the grace of God.

(Galatians 2:21 KJV) I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

The grace of God is the only way we can truly grow in the Lord.

(2 Peter 3:18 KJV) But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Please understand! We are sure the things most Christians do to help overcome the sin problem are good things that they need to do such as: going to church, reading the Bible, fasting, having hands laid on them in prayer, or even prayer itself. These things often become self-imposed laws a person makes for themselves. We know these are all great things to do, but if you are doing them in order to get rid of the sin problem in your life, YOU WILL FAIL. THERE IS ONLY ONE THING THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF THE SIN PROBLEM AND THAT IS THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS SHED BLOOD. If you fail to understand what this truth means, you will fail in your battle against sin.

REMEMBER, THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET VICTORY OVER SIN

IS TO DIE TO IT

BY FAITH IN THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST

That is the way you need to understand this book. This book you are reading does not contain things to replace the cross of Christ, but it does contain things that will help you after you place your faith in the cross of Christ.

Let us be more specific. The Word of God tells us that our old man (sinful nature) was crucified when we were born again.

(Galatians 5:24 KJV) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

They "have crucified" (past tense) - the "flesh" (old man, sinful nature) at the time they were born again. At this point in time you had victory over your sinful nature and it did not reign over you. It is clear from the Word of God that this is what happened when you were born again. YOU DIED TO SIN ( YOUR OLD SELF).

(Romans 6:6-7 KJV) Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. {7} For he that is dead is freed from sin.

We need to understand that the cross isn’t just something that we hear about when we are saved but it is the focus of our daily walk.

(1 Corinthians 15:31 KJV) I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

We can die to sin daily because we don’t have to try to "get the victory" over sin because Jesus has already won the victory for us. His death on the cross fully paid the sin debt and nothing else can ever take its place. The only fight that we have to fight is the fight of Faith.

(1 Timothy 6:12 KJV) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

(1 John 5:4 KJV) For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Here are a few last facts that you will need to understand.

1. You can live in victory over your sinful nature to the point that it does not reign over you, but it will never be completely gone.

(1 John 1:8 KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

2. You will always be subject to being tempted because of your fallen nature that remains in you. You will battle with our un-Godly world and the Satanic forces that oppose you.

(Ephesians 6:12 KJV) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

(1 Corinthians 10:13 KJV) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

3. If you yield to sin your fallen nature can reign over you once again and you will have to exercise I John 1:9 and replace your faith in the cross on a daily basis.

(Galatians 3:11 KJV) But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

4. We have three ingredients to the victorious Christian life:

the cross

our daily faith in it

and the Holy Spirit who makes the victory real in our life.

(Galatians 2:20 KJV) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Roman 6:11 is a key verse. As we believe and confess by faith that our old man died with Jesus on Calvary and that through the new nature within us we also live with him, we die to sin once again. WE REIGN OVER SIN - SIN DOESN’T REIGN OVER US.

(Romans 6:11 KJV) Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This doesn’t mean that we live in a life of sinless perfection and no failures. There is no such thing, but Does mean that we stand by faith in the victory that he has already won for us. Our faith in the cross will release the Holy Spirit in our life to give us true victory.

(Romans 8:37 KJV) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

(Romans 8:31 KJV) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

(Romans 8:28 KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

This is what Jesus was talking about in Luke 9:23 when Jesus said that a Christian had to deny himself he was not talking about earthly things that he needed to give up. What we need to deny is that there is anything (or any self-imposed law we can keep) that we can do about our sin problem.

(Luke 9:23 KJV) And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Our biggest problem is our own self sufficiency that lies at the very root of our fallen nature. When you realize THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT SIN IS TO DIE TO IT - you will know THE TRUTH THAT SETS YOU FREE!

As you place your faith in the cross, the Seven Steps to Healing in the Gilead’s Balm book written by us will aid your growth in the process of sanctification. We have proclaimed to you THE ULTIMATE TRUTH - the way of liberty.

(Luke 4:18 KJV) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

May the Holy Spirit anoint you as you stand by faith in the victory of Jesus Christ.
