B. PRIDE IS THE MARK OF A FOOL
2. (Proverbs 14:3 KJV) In the mouth of the foolish is a rod
of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
3.(Psalms 14:1 KJV) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of
David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They
are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none
that doeth good.
4. (Luke 11:39-40 KJV) And the Lord said unto him, Now do
ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the
platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and
wickedness. {40} Ye fools, did not he that made that which is
without make that which is within also?
C. WHAT GOD THINKS ABOUT FOOLS
5. (Ecclesiastes 5:4 KJV) When thou vowest a vow unto God,
defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay
that which thou hast vowed.
6. (Proverbs 24:9 KJV) The thought of foolishness is sin:
and the scorner is an abomination to men.
D. THERE IS A "REVELATION OF THE FOOL"

QUICK TEMPERED

THE MEDDLE (butt in, pry, snoop, interfere)

from strife: but every fool will be meddling.

argumentative)

contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.
THEY STIR UP STRIFE (conflict, antagonism, discord)
15. (Proverbs 28:25 KJV) He that is of a proud heart
stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD
shall be made fat.
UNTEACHABLE IN CERTAIN AREAS

F. HOW TO DEAL WITH A FOOL
19. (Proverbs 9:6-8 KJV) Forsake the foolish, and live; and

wicked man getteth himself a blot. {8} Reprove not a scorner,
lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The

I. WHAT SHOULD WE DO? SHUT UP AND LEAVE! PRAY FOR THEM

J. YOU CAN’T CHANGE A FOOL

in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his
foolishness depart from him.
(Proverbs 27:22 NKJV) Though you grind a fool in a mortar
with a pestle along with crushed grain, Yet his foolishness
