APOSTLES
1. (Ephesians 4:8 KJV) Wherefore he saith, When he
ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave
gifts unto men.
2.(Ephesians 4:11-14 KJV) And he gave some, apostles; and
some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
teachers; {12} For the perfecting of the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of
Christ: {13} Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and
of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto
the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: {14}
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro,
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the
sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in
wait to deceive;
Have we come to full maturity and unity of the faith in the
church?
Do we still need apostles?
The last of the twelve apostles were dead thirty-five years
after Ephesians was written.
Is it logical or even intelligent to believe that God only
gave this gift to the church for thirty-five years?
3. (1 Corinthians 12:28-30 KJV) And God hath set some in
the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly
teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings,
helps, governments, diversities of tongues. {29} Are all
apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all
workers of miracles? {30} Have all the gifts of healing? do
all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
4.(Ephesians 2:19-22 KJV) Now therefore ye are no more
strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the
saints, and of the household of God; {20} And are built upon
the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ
himself being the chief corner stone; {21} In whom all the
building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple
in the Lord: {22} In whom ye also are builded together for
an habitation of God through the Spirit.
5. (Acts 14:23 KJV) And when they had ordained them
elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they
commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
APOSTE (APOSTOLOS) A sent one, and ambassador, a
delegate, one who is sent forth, one commissioned and authorized
by another to represent another and carry out his will and
purposes.
6. (John 20:21 KJV) Then said Jesus to them again, Peace
be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
7.(1 Corinthians 3:10 KJV) According to the grace of God
which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid
the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every
man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
THE APOSTOLIC GOVERNMENT
8. (Isaiah 9:6 KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a
son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty
God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Jesus The Apostle
9. (Hebrews 3:1 KJV) Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of
the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of
our profession, Christ Jesus;
The Twelve
10. (Luke 6:12-16 KJV) And it came to pass in those days,
that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all
night in prayer to God. {13} And when it was day, he called
unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also
he named apostles; {14} Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and
Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
{15} Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon
called Zelotes, {16} And Judas the brother of James, and Judas
Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
11.(Revelation 21:12 KJV) And had a wall great and high,
and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and
names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve
tribes of the children of Israel:
12. (Revelation 21:14 KJV) And the wall of the city had
twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve
apostles of the Lamb.
13.(Matthew 19:28 KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Verily I
say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the
regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of
his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the
twelve tribes of Israel.
Qualifications of The Twelve
14. (Acts 1:15-26 KJV) And in those days Peter stood up in
the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names
together were about an hundred and twenty,) {16} Men and
brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which
the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning
Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. {17} For he
was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.
{18} Now this man purchased a field with the reward of
iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst,
and all his bowels gushed out. {19} And it was known unto all
the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in
their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of
blood. {20} For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his
habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his
bishopric let another take. {21} Wherefore of these men which
have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went
in and out among us, {22} Beginning from the baptism of John,
unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be
ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. {23} And
they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed
Justus, and Matthias. {24} And they prayed, and said, Thou,
Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, show whether of
these two thou hast chosen, {25} That he may take part of this
ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression
fell, that he might go to his own place. {26} And they gave
forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was
numbered with the eleven apostles.
Ascension Gift Apostles (Apostolic Gifts given after
Christ was ascended to the Father)
Paul
15. (1 Corinthians 15:5-8 KJV) And that he was seen of
Cephas, then of the twelve: {6} After that, he was seen of
above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part
remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. {7}
After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
{8} And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out
of due time.

THE RESTORATION OF APOSTOLIC MINISTRY
16. (Acts 3:19-21 KJV) Repent ye therefore, and be
converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times
of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; {20}
And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto
you: {21} Whom the heaven must receive until the times of
restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth
of all his holy prophets since the world began.
17.(Joel 2:23-25 KJV) Be glad then, ye children of Zion,
and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the
former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you
the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first
month. {24} And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the
vats shall overflow with wine and oil. {25} And I will restore
to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm,
and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I
sent among you.
18. (Isaiah 42:22-23 KJV) But this is a people robbed and
spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are
hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth;
for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. {23} Who among you will
give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to
come?
19.(Jeremiah 3:14-15 KJV) Turn, O backsliding children,
saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you
one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to
Zion: {15} And I will give you pastors according to mine
heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.
APOSTLES LAY FOUNDATIONS
20. (Romans 15:20 KJV) Yea, so have I strived to preach the
gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon
another man's foundation:
21.(2 Corinthians 10:14-16 NASB) For we are not
overextending ourselves, as if we did not reach to you, for we
were the first to come even as far as you in the gospel of
Christ; {15} not boasting beyond our measure, that is, in
other men's labors, but with the hope that as your faith
grows, we shall be, within our sphere, enlarged even more by
you, {16} so as to preach the gospel even to the regions
beyond you, and not to boast in what has been accomplished in
the sphere of another.
NOT A MAN PLEASER
22. (Galatians 1:1 KJV) Paul, an apostle, (not of men,
neither by man, but by Jesus Christ, and God the Father, who
raised him from the dead;)
23.(Galatians 1:6-12 KJV) I marvel that ye are so soon
removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto
another gospel: {7} Which is not another; but there be some
that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. {8}
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let
him be accursed. {9} As we said before, so say I now again, If
any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have
received, let him be accursed. {10} For do I now persuade men,
or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men,
I should not be the servant of Christ. {11} But I certify you,
brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not
after man. {12} For I neither received it of man, neither was
I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
24. (Acts 5:27-32 KJV) And when they had brought them, they
set them before the council: and the high priest asked them,
{28} Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should
not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem
with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon
us. {29} Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said,
We ought to obey God rather than men. {30} The God of our
fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.
{31} Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince
and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and
forgiveness of sins. {32} And we are his witnesses of these
things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to
them that obey him.
CONFRONTATIONAL ANOINTING
25. (Titus 1:10-11 NKJV) For there are many insubordinate,
both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the
circumcision, {11} whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert
whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for
the sake of dishonest gain.
26.(Galatians 2:11 NASB) But when Cephas came to Antioch, I
opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned.
27. (Galatians 5:12 NIV) As for those agitators, I wish
they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!
28.(Luke 21:14-19 KJV) Settle it therefore in your hearts,
not to meditate before what ye shall answer: {15} For I will
give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall
not be able to gainsay nor resist. {16} And ye shall be
betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and
friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
{17} And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. {18}
But there shall not an hair of your head perish. {19} In your
patience possess ye your souls.
NO PANZIES IN THE PULPITS
29. (Acts 20:27-31 KJV) For I have not shunned to declare
unto you all the counsel of God. {28} Take heed therefore unto
yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy
Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God,
which he hath purchased with his own blood. {29} For I know
this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in
among you, not sparing the flock. {30} Also of your own selves
shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away
disciples after them. {31} Therefore watch, and remember, that
by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one
night and day with tears.
30.(John 10:12-13 KJV) But he that is an hireling, and not
the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf
coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf
catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. {13} The hireling
fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the
sheep.
BOLDNESS
31. (Acts 4:29-31 NKJV) "Now, Lord, look on their
threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness
they may speak Your word, {30} "by stretching out Your
hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through
the name of Your holy Servant Jesus." {31} And when they
had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was
shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and
they spoke the word of God with boldness.
32.(Revelation 21:8 NKJV) "But the cowardly,
unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,
sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in
the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the
second death."
DEFEND AND CONFIRM THE GOSPEL
33. (Philippians 1:7 NASB) For it is only right for me to
feel this way about you all, because I have you in my heart,
since both in my imprisonment and in the defense and
confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of grace
with me.
34.(Philippians 1:16 NASB) the latter do it out of love,
knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel;
APOSTOLIC WARFARE
35. (2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV) (For the weapons of our
warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling
down of strong holds;)
36.(Jeremiah 5:31 KJV) The prophets prophesy falsely, and
the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to
have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?
RESTORATION OF APOSTOLIC POWER
37. (Matthew 10:1-2 KJV) And when he had called unto him
his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean
spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness
and all manner of disease. {2} Now the names of the twelve
apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and
Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his
brother;
Power (Matt 10:1):
EXOUSIA-It is closely related to dunamis, but differs by
its intent of the delegation of authority rather than the
capability of the inherent power of dunamis. (THE COMPLETE
BIBLICAL LIBRARY, Page 483, Vol. 12)
Power of God(Acts1:8): Where we get our word
"dynamite"
DUNAMIS-1411. dunamis, doo'-nam-is; from G1410; force (lit.
or fig.); spec. miraculous power (usually by impl. a miracle
itself):--ability, abundance, meaning, might (-ily, -y, -y
deed), (worker of) miracle (-s), power, strength, violence,
mighty (wonderful) work.(QUICK VERSE, HG.)
DUNAMIS is the dynamite power of God!
You can receive the inherent dynamite power of God, but
without the authority to use it, it is useless.
God gave his twelve disciples/apostles dynamite power and the
authority to use it!
GOD RELEASES THIS POWER TODAY THROUGH HIS DIVINELY INSTITUTED
ORDER IN THE CHURCH CONSISTING OF THE APOSTLE AND THE REST OF
THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY.
APOSTOLIC IMPARTATION
38. (2 Timothy 1:6 KJV) Wherefore I put thee in remembrance
that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the
putting on of my hands.
39.(1 Timothy 4:14 KJV) Neglect not the gift that is in
thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of
the hands of the presbytery.
THE APOSTOLIC CHARGE
40. (1 Timothy 1:3 KJV) As I besought thee to abide still
at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest
charge some that they teach no other doctrine,
41.(1 Timothy 1:18-20 KJV) This charge I commit unto thee,
son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on
thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare; {19}
Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put
away concerning faith have made shipwreck: {20} Of whom is
Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan,
that they may learn not to blaspheme.
42. (1 Timothy 5:3-8 KJV) Honour widows that are widows
indeed. {4} But if any widow have children or nephews, let
them learn first to show piety at home, and to requite their
parents: for that is good and acceptable before God. {5} Now
she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and
continueth in supplications and prayers night and day. {6} But
she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth. {7} And
these things give in charge, that they may be blameless. {8}
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of
his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an
infidel.
43.(1 Timothy 5:19-21 KJV) Against an elder receive not an
accusation, but before two or three witnesses. {20} Them that
sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. {21} I
charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, and the
elect angels, that thou observe these things without
preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
44. (1 Timothy 6:12-14 KJV) Fight the good fight of faith,
lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and
hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. {13} I
give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all
things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate
witnessed a good confession; {14} That thou keep this
commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of
our Lord Jesus Christ:
45.(1 Timothy 6:17 KJV) Charge them that are rich in this
world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain
riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things
to enjoy;
46. (2 Timothy 4:1-2 KJV) I charge thee therefore before
God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and
the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; {2} Preach the
word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke,
exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
APOSTOLIC LEADERSHIP
47. (1 Corinthians 4:14-16 KJV) I write not these things to
shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. {15} For though
ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not
many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through
the gospel. {16} Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of
me.
